After being released from Walter Reed hospital on Moday, U.S. President Donald J. Trump urged Americans not to let Covid-19 dominate their lives.

In a hopeful and encouraging video, the President, who contracted the Wuhan-Coronavirus himself last week, called on his fellow citizens not to live in fear, but to instead continue with their lives. He also pointed out how much progress has been made in fighting the virus and expressed gratitude for the people who contributed to that achievement.

Privatizing prisons has once been a convenient way for many mayors and governors across America to create one-time revenue for their budget. Unfortunately, this also created vested commercial interests in having as many people as possible behind bars for as long as possible – at the taxpayer’s expense. This situation inevitably caused conflicts of interest.
