Trump’s 4 Nobel Peace Prize Nominations Show He’s a Peacemaker — Not Warmonger as Critics Claim
As far as 17 years ago, Donald Trump is on record critcizing the decisions of America’s presidents to take the country to war against nations around the globe.
When he was elected president himself, unlike almost all of his predecessors, he stayed true to his principles and did NOT involve the United States in any new war, but instead, brought thousands of troops home and managed to get generations-old sworn enemies to sign historic peace agreements with each other. His record of accomplishing peace in the Middle East stands in stark contrast to decades of relentless war in that region.
In 2016, his critics warned that Trump would be a threat to world peace and must never be given the codes to America’s nuclear weapons. Much to the dismay of warhawks like John Bolton and many in the media, the opposite has proven to be true.
