Nearly 10,000 Tennesseans have already recovered from the Wuhan-Coronavirus

As of May 18, 2020, there are less than 300 Covid-deaths in Tennessee. This is despite the fact that every death with other causes is being counted as a Covid-death, as long as the person tests positive for Covid or had Covid-like symptoms.

Put into perspective, Tennessee has a population of roughly 6.5 million people. Antibody-tests suggest that up to a third of the population has already been exposed to the virus and the vast majority recovered with little or no symptoms. This could mean that up to two million Tennesseans already had contact with the Wuhan-Coronavirus and now have Covid-immunity. With 295 deaths attributed to the virus, this would mean a lethality of 0.00015% – a fraction of the lethality of other common diseases, such as the flu.

This also means, that even if every Tennessean, who has not yet had contact with the virus, would get infected today, i.e. the entire population at once, Tennessee would still have sufficient hospital capacity to treat every Tennessean suffering from complications.

Hence, there is no longer ANY justification for ANY Covid-based restrictions in Tennessee, be it closings of churches or businesses, such as bars, limitations of gatherings, or demanding people wear face-masks or stay a certain distance apart from each other.

U.S. Space Force is Recruiting (video)

“Maybe your purpose on this planet isn’t on this planet.” Proving it is taking national security seriously, President Trump’s administration is taking concrete steps to protect and defend vital U.S. assets in space.

The primary purpose of the U.S. military’s newest branch is not to put American soldiers into space, but to ensure that our technology in space, such as satellites, is safe from foreign threats. Few Americans are aware how much our daily lives have become dependent upon reliable infrastructure in orbit.

From GPS, to internet connections, TV and phone signals etc., a disruption of our satellites would wreak havoc on our daily lives. Adversarial powers such as China, have already proven their capability to destroy satellites.

Our current military is not adequately geared toward effective defense of our space infrastructure and the U.S. Air Force has other priorities. President Trump’s decision to create a new military branch was therefore a wise one, just as the creation of the U.S. Air Force, which was initially formed as a branch of the U.S. Army, had become necessary by 1947.

Constitutionality of Tennessee Governor’s Shutdown Orders to be Questioned in Requested Attorney General Opinion

Tennessee state representative Bruce Griffey laid out in detail how governor Lee’s executive orders, curbing Tennesseans’ civil liberties, violate the constitution of the state of Tennessee. Griffey now requests a legal opinion from the Tennessee attorney general to clarify the governor’s authority and the constitutionality of these orders.

Thank God for Checks and Balances!

House Bill H.R.6666, introduced by a Democrat from Illinois, would enact total surveillance over Americans who have committed no crime. Thankfully, his party does not have a majority in the Senate, nor control over the White House.

Occasionally, it is a good idea to remember the wisdom of the Founding Fathers. Tyranny is harder to accomplish when it requires bipartisanship.
