French Presidential Candidate Marine Le Pen Seeks to Prevent Russia-China Bloc

French presidential hopeful Marine Le Pen stressed how important it is to integrate Russia into the West and seek its alliance with Europe, the U.S. and NATO, rather than encouraging the world’s largest country to deepen an alliance with the country holding the world’s largest population, which ultimately poses a serious threat to Western security and economic stability.

The Technocracy is Terrified of Musk and Free Speech

Twitter’s board last week voted to swallow a so-called “poison pill” to tank the value of the social media giant’s shares rather than allow Elon Musk to buy the company. However, the board thereby exposed itself to massive legal liability for breech of its fiduciary duties.

In the end, Musk will likely either prevail and end Twitter’s insane censorship, or customers will leave Twitter behind like they did with MySpace and are increasingly doing with facebook.

Tennessee Revenue for March $348.8 Million More Than Budgeted, Annual Surplus Hits $2.5 Billion

This provides an opportunity to pursue two important goals: cut taxes (e.g. finally abolish the privilege tax, abolish the franchise & excise tax and/or reduce the sales tax) and/or substantially reduce the federal government’s stranglehold over Tennessee policies by reducing dependency on federal funds.

Another, unconventional, idea would be to drastically increase state legislators’ salaries, thereby making them less susceptible to special interests (e.g. potential job offers). Currently, Tennessee state legislators receive a salary of less than $25K per year. Raising this amount to about $100K would cost about $10 million per year and make state senators and representatives more independent.

Tennessee could also become an entirely debt-free state, paying off its remaining debt of about $1.5 billion dollars at once.
