Just how Overblown Were the Alarmist Models for the Coronavirus? In Some Cases up to 20,000%.

Remember that the goal of the shutdowns was to stay home for two weeks, to “flatten the curve”, i.e. prevent hospitals from getting overrun. Not to bankrupt most businesses and lock everybody up for several years until nobody dies anymore or some potential vaccine may or may not be available (keep in mind, that in the case of HIV we are still waiting for that – after 30 years).

A look at the numbers makes unmistakeably clear that the models were unbelievably wrong, that the curve has been flattened way past the goal, that we have more hospital capacity than the Wuhan-virus requires and that we ARE ready to go back to normal. Right now.
