Twitter’s board last week voted to swallow a so-called “poison pill” to tank the value of the social media giant’s shares rather than allow Elon Musk to buy the company. However, the board thereby exposed itself to massive legal liability for breech of its fiduciary duties.
In the end, Musk will likely either prevail and end Twitter’s insane censorship, or customers will leave Twitter behind like they did with MySpace and are increasingly doing with facebook.
