A simple way to stop school shootings is to repeal the “Gun-Free-School-Zones-Act” and its state equivalents. If law abiding citizens (e.g. teachers, parents, etc). are allowed to carry on school property, a shooter could be stopped almost immediately. Waiting on the police, who may just end up protecting the murderer inside, as in Uvalde, has proven to cost many innocent lives. More guns in the hands of good and trained citizens on the other hand, serve to protect society both from crime and from totalitarianism.
