Chicago voters finally got back at the openly racist mayor who ordered draconian lockdowns, threatened businesses and citizens and allowed crime to explode out of control in a city that was once among one of America’s most prosperous. Only 16.4% of the voters wanted to see another term of crime, destruction and tyranny.
Paul Vallas and Brandon Johnson, who came in first and second, will now face off in a runoff election on April 4th, as neither received an absolute majority. Vallas vowed to make Chicago “the safest city in America.”
