In an excellent act of political parody, and highlighting the dangerous absurdity of cancel culture, Florida State Senator Blaise Ingoglia introduced a bill to cancel any party that has at one point in the past supported slavery.
Completely missing the irony, Florida Democrats, who usually love cancelling anyone and anything for acts in the distant past, were immediately up in arms about it, defending the very party which did support slavery.
