After decades of impressive progress, which culminated in the moon landing, cars approaching 200 mph top speed and the Concorde reducing the travel time from London to New York to about tree hours, the last twenty years were dictated by those who want to slow everyone down against their will. Be that with speed bumps, speed limits, “social distancing” or ending supersonic air travel without offering any alternatives.
Thankfully, some more visionary entrepreneurs are working on bringing at least the aviation component of the civilizational advancement we had already achieved half a century ago and frustratingly lost since, back.
