The Fulton County, Georgia, district attorney who in June charged an Atlanta police officer with murder after the officer killed a suspect who attacked him and stole his taser, lost his reelection to his former deputy. The DA had brought the murder charges just five days after the incident and did not even await the investigation of the GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigation).
