Why Trump’s Executive Order Banning CRT is the Right Move for Unity

Pastor John MacArthur explains why “Critical Race Theory” (CRT) is an evil, racist and divisive ideology which has brought distrust, hate and civil unrest to America. He also explains from a theological perspective, why it is irreconcilable with scripture.

While Christians need to be vigilant to ensure their churches don’t buy into the racist and ungodly teachings of CRT, the fact that President Trump banned this propaganda of hate from the federal government, is encouraging.

Thousands of Coronavirus Cases Among College Students But Not a Single Hospitalization

Remember “flattening the curve?” The point of the shutdowns and distancing was to ensure that hospitals wouldn’t get overrun.

However, the pressure on the hospital system never materialized. Instead, as it became apparent how harmless the novel coronavirus actually was, the goal posts were shifted. At this point, one must wonder what the point of distancing, masks, surveillance and other restrictions is. If anything, the fact that there are so many cases is a blessing, because, especially when talking about college students, i.e. a young population, these cases are a de facto vaccine, creating herd immunity without danger.

Trump Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, cited Trump’s historic accomplishments in the Middle East peace process, as well as his anti-war policy as reasons for the nomination.

As Tybring-Gjedde pointed out, Donald Trump is the first U.S. President in 39 years who had not started a new war or dragged America into an armed conflict. Instead, he is working on reducing America’s existing involvement in foreign conflicts and endless wars.

Tybring-Gjedde said that he is not a big fan of President Trump, but that “the committee should look at the facts and judge him on the facts – not on the way he behaves sometimes. The people who have received the Peace Prize in recent years have done much less than Donald Trump.  For example, Barack Obama did nothing.”

Major Win for Unity: Trump Bans Critical Race Theory Within Federal Government

The Trump administration has instructed federal agencies to end racial sensitivity trainings that address topics like white privilege and critical race theory, calling them “divisive, anti-American propaganda.”

In a letter to federal agencies Friday, the director of the Office of Management and Budget said the president recently became aware of the racial sensitivity programs, which encourage frank conversations about race in the workplace and discuss potential actions to combat systemic racism.

The memo, issued by OMB Director Russell Vought, reads in part:

“All agencies are directed to begin to identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any training on ‘critical race theory,’ ‘white privilege,’ or any other training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil.”
